In three steps: ① sign up with email or a social account, ② create a family group or join with an invite code, ③ allow location — and the family map opens right away.
After signing up, tap "Create family" to start a group, or "Join" with the 6-digit invite code from your family. See the Family groups help for details.
Family members appear as live avatars. The list below shows each person's battery and last update, and tapping a name jumps to their location.
Real-time location, arrival/leave alerts for favorite places, low-battery alerts, distance alerts, the day's route, and emergency SOS — a quiet way to look after your family.
To share your location when the app is closed, location needs "Always"; to receive arrivals and SOS, notifications must be on. If location still won't show, see the device fixes.
